Lakers U14 boys defeat USC-team

The Lakers under 14 team celebrates its first league victory defeating the USC squad in an exciting game.
Having lost the first match, the boys of coach Ekki Jaeger showed a clear improvement in heading their game to the basket right from the beginning. Led by captain Ory Levy the team could gather a double digit lead before the halftime break.
Anton Schweitzer and Paul Bergk together scored 35 points, on the defence Emmanuel Reginald and Jasper Rosenbaum did a remarkable job. The bench players Emre Atay and Ryusei Maruyama added their share of success being a great substitution to the players in need of a breather. Though becoming a close game at the end, the USC youngsters missed too many chances to turn the score, leaving the Lakers boys team happy with their first win of the league.
The next games of the U14 boys will already be on March 21st against SV Automation and Wurzen on our home court at the Heisenberg gym.
